Now this some amazing video. This combines some of my favorite things; Tubes, amazing specialized tools, hand-made Craftsmanship, check out his hands. My favorite part of the video is the customized riveting tool as spot welder or, the radio device that is pictured above.

Portland Oregon and "Bike boxes"

This From the "World Changing" site. I really like this idea for San Francisco... If Portland and Vancouver and The Netherlands... It makes great sense to protect Cyclists (removing cars from dense urban areas might help to). Check the Oregonian news write up on it. No Long winded proto-idealism from me on this.
